Spca Military Grant - The Bridging the Gap for Veterans Foundation is excited to partner with other non-profit organizations that help veterans deal with post-traumatic stress (PTS) and help dogs heal. Our retail sales of Coffee Platoon generate revenue that allows us to fund various service dog and K-9 vest programs across the country. Each year we select a service dog organization to provide funding to cover the cost of dog training and veterans We partner with leading law enforcement agencies to support the purchase of K-9 vests and protect law enforcement dogs from injury.

Bridging the Gap was excited to donate $5,500 to www.Vetdogs.org in 2021 to fund service dogs for the military veteran community from the retail sales of our coffee products. Their program is unique and offers dogs that are highly trained to support a veteran dealing with PTSD. Bridging the Gap is honored to partner with them and looks forward to more events to attend.

Bridging the Gap is a veteran-led 501(c)3 organization that provides career transition coaching, scholarships, and funding for service dog training programs. This new venture with our shelter will provide sponsored pet adoptions for veterans

This Rule Prevents Troops From Caring From Stray Animals

The Bridge Gap Veteran Adoption Program will provide 50% of the adoption fee to qualified and approved adopters of military veterans at the Monmouth County SPCA. We can't think of a better way to thank our veterans than to give them the opportunity to experience the lasting love and devotion of a shelter pet! Working together, Bridge the Gap will help make a difference in the lives of both Beast veterans!

Bridge the Gap would like to take a moment to acknowledge and recognize the amazing military veteran families who adopt and rescue animals from the Monmouth County SPCA. We are thrilled to have adopted our first kitten and are excited to continue connecting loving families with their new best friends in 2022. Operation Military Pets helps transport their pets to new duty stations in the United States and abroad. Unfortunately, the military does not pay for pet moves, and families bear the brunt of pet transportation costs.
