3 COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS For enlisted soldiers (at least one enlistment), you must have 24 months of PCS service within CONUS from the date you report to your new unit. Even if pre-reporting is allowed, you must have 24 months of service from the initial reporting date to the new unit. When this happens, please ask the S1/Maintenance agent to immediately provide the necessary documentation to process the orders. The career officer should see his maintenance NCO and expand the list to meet this requirement. If you have less than 24 months of service left and choose to re-enlist, you must see your maintenance officer and sign a Waiver of Continued Service (DCSS) within 30 days of appointment. Turn this document into your S-1 service so it can be processed into an RPC. Signing this form will prevent further invitations and will result in leaving the service on the current ETS date.

Soldiers, noncommissioned officers, and warrant officers (E-1 through E-6/O1 through O3/WO1 through WO2) need a completed Form 5434 before starting the installation clearance case (DA Form 137-2). Exceptions to Policy (ETP) must be signed by the first equivalent senior general/service officer in the soldier's chain of command with an approval authorization of at least the level of BDE Cdr. If you attend a PCS school (6 months or more), you do not need to have a sponsor as the school cannot sponsor incoming students. Senior commanders may determine that financial support is necessary in their area of responsibility based on location, unit type, and the uniqueness or complexity of site compliance.

Assigned Soldiers are advised not to take any irreversible action (eg, canceling a lease, selling their home, having their household goods moved by a private company, or making travel arrangements for family members using commercial carriers) before receiving a PCS order. ) do not do. There is no compensation for these actions. Once your PCS order is issued, a copy will be entered into your S-1 service and .mil account. Please be sure to print your documents when completing your payment package. Soldiers requesting air travel must make arrangements through the Official Travel Section (Waller Hall), Room 600.

Soldiers may report to the receiving command up to 30 days prior to the reporting date specified in PCS orders, unless special instructions permit or prohibit earlier reporting. Soldiers who wish to report to the receiving command with PCS orders 30 days prior to the reporting date (ie, 31, 60, 90, or 120 days) must submit DA Form 4187, Request for Early Entry. DA Form 4187 should be forwarded to the Brigade Commander (BDE CMNDR) for signature. After the BDE CMNDR signs the DA Form 4187, the S1 unit must forward the request for tracking and processing to the HRC for decision to the reassignment processing section.

The request must be submitted as soon as possible after the determination of the need for delay or removal or within 30 days of the EDAS period date, whichever occurs first. However, requests submitted after 30 days due to unforeseen circumstances will not be denied, but the request must include an explanation of the circumstances that caused the delay. 8 Preliminary report Preliminary report The preliminary report is not the determining factor in the creation of the publication order and does not mean the approval of the premature report. Note that "previous reporting is allowed" is an authorized action, not a directive. You must have accumulated enough time to cover the initial reporting period. Initial reporting is done through DA Form 31. For example, if you are allowed 60 days before reporting and your order reporting date is May 10, 2015, and you elect to report 60 days earlier, the due date of your DA form. 31 should reflect the reporting date on the PCS order. The start date on your Form 31 should show the date of departure from JBLM. You only get charged for the days you actually use. For example, if you leave on May 10th and report to your new duty station on May 17th, you will have used 7 days of paid leave. Finance does not exclude authorized and approved PTDY travel time. Your supervisor will determine the number of initial reporting days allowed.

Requests for authorized temporary duty (PTDY) are made through the S-1 Service. The approving authority is the battalion commander. PTDY-authorized Soldiers must report directly to the housing office at the new duty station, as required by the receiving installation. To ensure that you meet the installation requirements, contact the installation housing procurement office for specific instructions. PTDY is authorized for CONUS assignments only. PTDY is not allowed abroad. Having an approved DA 31 form does not mean that RPS will produce your orders based on your approved leave dates. Please note that orders will be issued from the date of your original report as determined by the HRC. The DA 31 form due date must match the order reporting date on your computer. If your orders are not due by the reporting date, the Central Clearing House (CCS) will not accept the DA Form 31 until this requirement is met.

Reallocation is not responsible for generating manual DD form. Please see the S3/BDE/BN Schools Police Officer section for this TDY order. While your TDY information is usually available on your PCS orders, housing and per diem funding is available on the DD Form 1610 instructions using MTSA funding. All Soldiers going PCS or TDY must have a Travel Charge Card (GTCC) to cover expenses incurred during PCS/TDY (CONUS and OCONUS). If you do not already have a GTCC, you should contact your unit representative to arrange for a GTCC to be issued. If you already have a GTCC, you should coordinate with your unit representative to ensure that the card will not be deactivated upon your departure and that appropriate credit limits are set to cover expenses during your move.
